Committed to Quality
Over the last 20 years, I have been on a wonderful journey in the hair industry as a barber and creating my product line, Wilson Hair Care. It only seemed right to start this hair care line as the next step in pushing my brand forward into the next 20 years and beyond.
The hair care line became possible because of two important mentors in my life: Leonard London helped me become the barber who I am today, and Don Breaux, who helped me become a businessman. My father possessed a work ethic like no other. I was able to learn from him as he ran his own business. One of our best-selling products, Ella’s Black Soap, is named in remembrance of my mother.
I hope the product line that I’ve created is an example to others that anything is possible with hard work and determination. Always keep good people around you, and above all, thank God because all dreams can become a reality.
Our Why
Wilson Hair Care was created because there was a lack of all-natural products for African Americans. The products that I did find as a barber weren't the best quality, and the smell and touch didn't seem right. I felt that all the products out there were the same. I wanted to dig into the benefits of natural ingredients for hair products used within the African American community. The feel and touch were essential.
